At GO Marine Services (GOMS) we want to promote a culture of honesty and integrity while emphasizing the safety of our contract laborers, our assets and the environment in which we live and work. We want to continuously improve our processes and strive to be the premium provider of contract labor personnel in our sector.
Safety and Environmental Protection Policy – GO Marine Services is committed to protect the health, safety, and welfare of its contract laborers and to minimize the impact of its activities on the environment. All contract laborers of the company are responsible for adopting safe work practices and required to support and contribute to the implementation of this policy.
GO Marine Services (GOMS) is committed to providing the best possible working conditions for our contractors. GOMS is compliant with applicable occupational health, safety and environmental regulations and conforms to established quality processes by developing the best operations, procedures and policies. Quality, health, safety, and environmental aspects of GOMS’ operations shall always be considered when completing business objectives.
Stop Work Authority (SWA) – All of our contractors, regardless of rank or position, should exercise their ability to stop any job when safety concerns arise. Imminent dangers require immediate actions. At GOMS, installation orders or vessel schedules have no priority over safety, health, or environmental protection. Therefore, Stop Work Authority training is provided and documented during new contractor orientation.
